CONSIGNMENT POLICY

Kootenay Tack’s commission is to be 35% for all except saddles, on saddles the comission is 30%, regardless of the retail price of the items/merchandise. Unless marked *instore credit, then Kootenay Tack’s commission is 25%

Kootenay Tack will make the best effort to sell all consignment items, and will accept all reasonable offers within a 10% variant of the asking price. If we receive a lower price offer, we will make an effort to contact the consignor. 

Kootenay Tack will use all reasonable avenues in order to assist in selling consignment items including but not limited to, in store and at www.kootenaytack.com.

All consigned items must remain with Kootenay Tack for a minimum of 90 days. Consigned items removed prior to the end of the 90 day contract period will be subject to a 25% charge.

After the 90 day period, a consignor may decide to take back the item(s) free of charge.

By signing the Consignment contract you are agreeing to these terms and conditions of this legal agreement. Kootenay Tack reserves the right to cancel this contract at any time.

 

Consignment Items Accepted

At this point Kootenay Tack will accept any equine related item in good/safe & working condition except for:
Helmets and safety items
English Tack
Nylon web halters
And old out dated items

All items will be assessed prior to being accepted.

Prices are set by the consignor, we will work with you if you are unsure how to price items.
