Feeding Directions
Slowly introduce to the horse's diet, over a 2-to-3-week period to allow the hind gut bacterial population time to adjust. For an adult 1100 lb (500kg) horse (adjust for smaller or larger breeds)/day:
Maintenance, overweight..............1/4 to ½ cup
Maintenance, healthy weight........ ½ to 1 cup
Maintenance, underweight............1 to 1-½ cup
Working or performing...................1-½ to 2 cups
